Earth Hour~

8:30 PM

All right! It's time for Earth Hour here in Honolulu! Well, the mayor said that he's turning off the lights at the capitol in honour of Earth Hour, and he's encouraging residents to turn off their lights at home. The purpose of Earth Hour is to raise awareness about global warming by turning off the lights (and maybe electricity) in your house whenever it's 8:30 PM your local time. I participated in Earth Hour last year, and it was very fun. To kick off Earth Hour, I saw fireworks from outside our balcony. Right now, I am typing what I have to say (just for you, my lovely readers :D) and listening to my iPod. What am I listening to right now, you ask? I'm listening "Writing on the Walls" by Underoath. I turned on one of my flashlights for my room light and I dimmed the backlight on my computer to the lowest without turning the screen black. Well, I'm going to go sketch something. I'll take a picture of it and post it up here later. I'll be back on after Earth Hour is over to tell you my thoughts about it. :D

9:31 PM

Well...I'm sad that Earth Hour is over. This is actually the second time I participated in the event. The entire time I was sketching something entirely with a mechanical pencil. Now, my entire right hand is covered in pencil marks! Oh well. I promised you a drawing, so now I give you a sketching. (look below) Something about that, I drew and coloured it all in the dark! (Well, using a book light) Earth Hour was fun! It was very fun drawing just using a book light. I'm probably going to do that more often! It took me about two hours to do that, and I turned on the lights in my room right after I finished. Well, until tomorrow, good night everyone! :{D

My First Blog Post

Well, hello to all who are reading this. This is obviously my first blog post, since there's nothing underneath this. Well, not much is going on with my life right now. It's the last day of Spring Break for me, and I'll have to go back to school on Monday. It's going to be such a lovely time seeing all of my wonderful teachers and all the wonderful classmates again after two weeks! To tell you the truth, I HATE a majority of my classmates. They're either too girly or too sassy. Apparently you don't know, but I go to an all-girls' school. Boring, eh? I'm probably one of the only tomboys in my class. It sucks going to an all-girls' prissy prissy girly sparkly school, when all your classmates talk about are boys, the latest fashions, and going to Abercrombie, Hollister, and all those crap clothing stores. I'm going to end this on a short note for now. It is very late where I live, and I'd like to go to sleep sometime before the sun rises. I should've been doing my History paper, but instead, I'm shirking from it by telling all of you reading this about my life. Good night.

PS. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to add more pizazz and crap to this page, like my favourite songs, games, bands, hobbies, and all that crap. I've used the word crap too much, hmm?
